I booked my car in Tirana through QEEQ and I picked it up around the morning of April 29. It was my first time driving there and I was a bit nervous. The car was a Skoda Kamiq with automatic gear and it felt easy to drive. I was glad I had bought AXA Full Coverage because it made me feel safer. Then the thing I was afraid of really happened. One day when I was parking in the city I made a small mistake and the front bumper got a scratch. I was shocked and my first thought was that this would cost a lot of money. When I returned the car around the morning of May 2 the staff at the rental counter checked the car and saw the scratch. They charged a big amount on my credit card. When I signed I was thinking that it was good I had the insurance or this would really hurt my budget. After I went back I started to prepare the things for the claim. At the start I did not really understand what they needed. I only knew they wanted some ID and my card bill and some photos. My first upload was not complete. The photos were not enough and my credit card bill was still in pending status. I was worried that the claim would be very hard so I contacted their support. The support team talked with me and told me step by step what was still missing. They said I needed a clearer screenshot of the final card bill and also photos of the damaged bumper. I was thinking that it was lucky they reminded me because I would not know all these small things on my own. Later I sat down and did it again. I took better photos of the damage and uploaded them. I also sent the updated credit card bill screenshot. When all the files were ready they told me they had passed everything to the insurance company. During that time I cared about this a lot and I asked them about the claim progress every few days. Each time I asked they replied and told me what stage it was in and that the money was already on the way and I just needed to wait. After some more days my bank finally showed the transfer. When I saw the claim money arrive I felt so relaxed. The charge from the rental company was basically paid back by the insurance. It felt like I got my loss back. At that moment I really felt that buying this insurance was worth it. For someone like me driving in another country and not very used to the roads this kind of cover makes me feel much more safe because even if something happens I can still get my money back.
