I booked the car on QEEQ and my first worry was what if something happens to the car since I am in Ireland and I am a visitor. I saw AXA Full Coverage and I kept it in mind because I felt one more cover could help me later. In early July I picked up the car in Cork in the morning around nine. It was a Toyota Yaris with automatic gear. For me this was nice because I did not want to deal with manual. Driving felt fine and easy until one night. There was a small hole on the side of the road. I thought in my head that it was small and the car could pass. After some minutes the steering felt strange. I stopped and checked. The tire was flat. My first thought was this is bad and this will cost a lot of money. I called roadside help and they came and took the car. The tire was repaired later and I got the bill. The tire repair and the roadside tow together were more than two hundred euro. When I saw the number I felt a bit sick because it was a lot for me. Then I remembered the AXA Full Coverage that I bought. I put all the papers I had together and sent them to the support team. In my head I was a bit nervous because I did not take any photos of the tire damage. I only had the repair papers. The support staff asked if I had photos and I had to say no. For some days I kept thinking maybe they will not pay if I have no photos. After some time they told me that the claim was approved and they would cover the tire repair and the roadside help. It was around 280 euro. I felt a big relief in that moment. That extra insurance finally did something real for me. Without this AXA Full Coverage it would be very hard for me as a student with a small budget who came from another country.
