In my mind I thought it does not cost extra and I do not need to do more, so I left it there. A few days later I was checking my email. I saw a new confirmation. I did not change anything by myself so I felt a bit confused. I talked to myself, “Why is there a new booking number? Did something go wrong?” I scrolled down and looked at the price. It was a little lower than what I remembered. Then I asked myself, “Is this because of that price thing?” I checked the old amount and the new one. The difference was a bit more than three pounds. I thought to myself, “Three pounds is still money. It is like a cup of coffee.” Then I understood. They saw that the same car became cheaper. They moved me to the lower price and sent the price difference back to me. I did not call anyone. I did not send any message. I only received a new confirmation and the info about the refund. Later I told my friend, “I did nothing and still saved some money.” My friend asked, “Did it make your booking messy?” I smiled and said, “No. It is the same car and the same place. Only the price is lower.” I felt very relaxed. It was like someone was watching the price for me and when they saw a chance they helped me save. As a visitor far from home even a small saving means I can buy one more snack or a small gift. I just wait for the pick up day and feel a bit happier because of this.
