"Wait this price looks different" I said to myself when I saw the latest charge on my card. I was a bit confused because I booked my car days ago on QEEQ. I checked a few options. The price looked ok so I just booked it and stopped thinking about it. I only kept a rough number in my head. Some days later I checked my bank statement again. The amount was a bit lower than what I remembered. I first thought I made a mistake. Then I opened my booking and I remembered I chose Price Drop Protector when I booked. The price went down after that and they rebooked it for me and sent the difference back to me. It was around thirty four dollars. The funny thing is I did nothing. No extra steps and no stress. It just felt like I got free money for doing nothing. For some people this is not a big amount. For me as a solo traveler it means a couple of good meals or a full tank of fuel. I also thought that without this service I would never notice the price drop at all.
