Sometimes it came back to my mind and I got a bit nervous. I was afraid there would be some problem with the later payment. On other platforms I often have to pay everything at once or after some time I cannot even remember when the money was taken. This time I checked my bill and it really showed only 1 dollar taken. The rest of the amount was still there. It felt like the car was already locked for me but I did not have to pay a big sum right away. When the trip was getting close I suddenly remembered the booking and opened my credit card app. I saw that the remaining money had been charged. The amount was correct and there was no extra or strange charge. I felt safe. For a business traveler this step by step payment is very friendly. I do not delay payment and I also do not lose a lot of credit limit too early. I travel a lot so this kind of small difference in experience is very clear to me. When I arrived at Tivat airport I went to the Budget counter and showed my voucher. The staff checked the system and said the full payment was already received. I just signed a few papers and got the Dacia Duster key. There was no trouble because of how I paid. For me the main point was that I only used 1 dollar at the start. My card stayed light for a long time so I could keep my limit for flights hotels or other costs. I did not need to count every dollar so closely. Thinking back about this booking my biggest memory is not the car but the One-Dollar Freeze payment plan. When I have many business trips I get lots of bills. If every booking asks for full payment at the beginning my credit card pressure is very strong. This time I paid 1 dollar first and the rest was charged automatically before the rental started. There was no interest and no extra fee. I just needed to make sure I had enough balance before the trip. As a business traveler this flexible payment fits my real needs and it makes me more willing to book cars with them again.
