It was still the small car I wanted and it is good for the streets in and around Athens that are not so wide. The email explained it in a clear way so I did not worry that the car company would give me a much worse car just because the price went down. I do not know a lot about cars. I just want it to be safe and clean and not crazy on fuel. Now with the lower price it feels even more worth it. After this I remember this automatic price check feature very well. When I book flights or hotels I often feel a little regret and think I bought too early. I worry that the price will drop and I will lose money and I keep checking again and again. This time it was much more relaxed. After I booked the car I did not go to other sites to compare. I just waited for my trip and felt like someone was watching it for me. If the price does not change then fine. If it drops then I get a small surprise like this time. I am a student and I travel alone so I do not have a lot of income. Every small saving is important. A few francs might not be much for some people but for me it is a small happy moment when I am working hard on my budget. That night when I saw the email about the refund I even took a screenshot and sent it to my friends and told them I did nothing and still saved money. They all said this feature was pretty cool. Now when I think about why I chose to book my car there it is not only because the car looks right for me. This Price Drop Protector is also a big reason I feel good about the booking. I feel like my wallet is taken care of and I do not need to watch the price every day or feel like I am the fool who paid more for booking early. For me this automatic refund on price drops is much better than getting some complicated coupon or discount rules that are hard to use.
