At the start I only wanted to book a car on QEEQ and I did not think too much. In my head I just said to myself the price looks ok so I will just book it now. Then I saw a service called Price Drop Protector. I asked myself is this thing really useful. It did not need extra work from me so I just added it. I made the booking after my plan for Krakow in Poland was set. The car was a Toyota C HR from CARFREE with automatic gear. As an overseas visitor I am really scared of manual cars so I felt calm when I saw it was automatic. I remember I booked in April and the car was set for pick up around May 7 in the early afternoon at about one. The drop off was around May 10 in the morning a bit after eight. I checked the time in my mind and it felt just right. So what about the price change. One day I was checking my email and I saw an update from them. My first thought was did my order have a problem. I opened it and saw it was about the price. I asked myself again does this mean I just saved money. The email said very clear that the same car was now cheaper and the system already made a new confirmed booking for me and the price difference would be paid back to me. The money was not a big amount. To be honest it was only a few CNY. But inside I still felt like I got free money. I did nothing special. I only booked the car like normal. They found the lower price by themselves and they changed the booking and returned the difference to me. I even told my friend that there is a service that watches the price for you. I did not need to chat with customer service and I did not need to bargain. I just saved some money in a very easy way. When I think about it if there was no Price Drop Protector I would never know the price went down later and I would not check the price every day. Now I feel that when I book a car with them next time I will just choose this service again. For me there is nothing to lose and maybe one day I can save more money again.
