When I think about this booking, the part I like the most is not the car, it is their One-Dollar Freeze service. As a business traveler, it felt great to lock the car with just 1 dollar first. Around April 12, I decided to get a Suzuki Swift automatic in Cancun at noon on April 13. My work plan was not fully fixed and I did not want a big charge on my credit card at once. On QEEQ I saw this payment option. I only needed to pay 1 dollar to hold the car. The rest would be charged before the rental started. It felt like a good deal for me. Those days I was also booking flights and hotel. Many holds were already on my card and my limit was getting close. If I paid the full car rental in advance I would feel a bit stressed. I did not need to stand at the counter and do math about fees. The staff at the counter found my booking fast. The car was the same group that I booked and the process was simple. I did not have any trouble because of payment and I saved some time. For me the best thing about paying only 1 dollar first is that my credit card pressure is low. I do not need to block a big amount of money many days before the trip. If my plan changes I also feel less worried. When it is time to use the car, the money just goes through. I checked the bill once and felt fine. As someone who flies a lot for work, this way is much more comfortable for me than paying the full amount at the start.
