Can a car booking really save me money by itself? I was traveling alone to Edinburgh in the UK and I booked a car through QEEQ. I planned to pick it up around the morning of April 9 and return it on April 16. The car was a manual Vauxhall Corsa from Alamo. It is a small car so it is easy for me to drive. When I booked I saw a service called Price Drop Protector. It said if the price went down they would book again at the lower price and give me the difference. I just thought it was okay and did not care too much. A few days later I checked my email and saw a message from them about my booking update. It said the price of my order was lower now and I saved a bit more than ten euros. Then I realized this service was working. The main thing is that I did nothing. I did not compare prices and I did not talk to customer service. The price just went down by itself and I saved money for free. For a student traveling alone like me ten euros is not a small amount. I can use it for a nice meal or some small gifts. I feel it is very easy when they help me watch the price like this. I do not need to check websites every day to see if the price drops. They just handle it for me. This experience makes me feel quite good about them.
