I feel pretty relaxed about this booking to be honest. I planned a short trip to Milan with my kid and I had to think about both time and money. When I thought I might need to pay a big amount at once, my head kind of hurt. Then I saw the One-Dollar Freeze option and I thought I will just pay 1 dollar first and see how it goes. Later I changed my mind a few times in my head. I was not sure about the car or the dates. Since I only paid that 1 dollar, I did not feel any big pressure. My family even asked me if I really only paid 1 dollar. I just laughed and said yes and the rest will be charged by them before the start. Around one or two days before our Milan pick up date I noticed the full payment was already charged. There was no extra cost and the amount was just what I expected. I felt that if I had to pay everything at the start I would think about it for a long time. With this way the credit card pressure is much lower for a parent who travels with a kid and it is easier to fix the plan.
